Rough Green Snake

Opheodrys aestivus

Description:

Small green baby snake about 5 inches long.

Habitat:

moist meadows, woodlands, often near water.

Notes:

We loved this little guy and had a hard time letting him go! I think I got the name right, but the habitat was off as this guy was in desert like conditions on the dunes!
