Yellow flower

Description:

Small plant. The leaves and stem look like as if this is a succulent of some kind. Globular cluster of yellow flowers.

Habitat:

Growing wild in village Kolakham, Kalimpong Hills of Darjiling district. Altitude about 1868m. Area is remote and forested. This particular specimen was photographed about half an hour's drive before the village proper...by the side of the road. Later, we saw it almost everywhere even growing out of cracks on the stone steps leading to the cottages.

Notes:

Locals tend to treat it like a weed.
