A St Andrew's Cross Spider female hanging head down with its legs pairs together. Up to 15mm in body length, flat oval shaped abdomen with transverse white, yellow and reddish-brown stripes, thorax and head are brownish-silver, legs are brown in colour, with clear bands at the middle. Adult males are much smaller than females and are brown in colour and with no pattern on the abdomen.
Spotted during a morning walk at Kebun Raya Cibodas, a 80ha area above 1.400 metres high, mix of botanical park with big trees & palms and surrounded by rainforest at the foot of Gene volcano, Java - Indonesia.
