That is one of the many problems with common names. Googling "pink-tipped satyr" there are actually 3 scientific names that pop up for it, one of them being what you have here.

I have also removed your second photo as we do not allow human faces in photos to protect privacy :) www.projectnoah.org/faq

I'm confused, if I google the latin I get "blushing phantom", if I google pink-tipped satyr I get a different latin name, but they both look the same to me!

My guess is that since the clear part of their wings are iridescent that with the time of day and the light source they photographed purple like this: https://www.flickr.com/photos/andreaskay...
