It’s small and round, with a black head and grayish blue wings.
The black-capped chickadee is found in deciduous and mixed forests, open woods, willow thickets, cotton wood groves, parks and disturbed areas.
Black-capped Chickadees make a high pitched see as a high-intensity alarm call.
