Hi Viv. It's an invasive weed here, but none-the-less pretty. I'm in the city so don't really see it around here, but out in the rural areas it's quite prolific. I'm sure the butterflies love it here as well. I like the spider too. Crab spiders are pretty cool.

Hi Neil! We used to sell an Ageratum hybrid as a summer bedding plant back in UK so I was really surprised when I saw Ageratum growing here so prolifically. I love the plant, and the butterflies love it as well as this little chap. I must check to see if I have the correct ident for this on PN .... thanks : )

He's a funny little guy. As a matter of interest, I'm pretty sure the plant is Ageratum houstonianum - Siam weed? We call it the Blue Billy Goat weed in Aust.
