Armina maculata

This peculiar looking nudibranch mimics its prey, the sea pen Veretillum cynomorium. It spends the day buried in the sand and comes out at night to feed. In spite of growing to be 15 cm long, it's rarely seen by divers.

Don't worry, they use smell to tell their mates from the preys :)

Amazing. Mimicking prey among friends might be very risky. :)
