My brother informs me that where he lived in Thailand, it was considered a good omen when a snake entered one's home. Perhaps the flowers were in recognition of that?

I'm not particularly fond of snakes I have to admit Neil. My husband took these photos yesterday as I was busy in the house when it was spotted. I'm just happy that it was released back into the wild. The Thai lady that owns the salon, threw some flowers towards the snake when it was released, whether this is to do with the Buddhist faith or not I am uncertain

Great spotting and series, Viv. That's a really handsome snake, and I bet it raised a few pulses in the beauty salon. We had an Eastern Brown snake enter the lab where I work. Not the biggest snake in the world, but it's the second most deadly. It's amazing how fast people can move when they're motivated.
