Equetus punctatus
Photo take at -30 ft on a coral reef , Is a small fish white color whit black stripes and dots as adult, about 7 cm long , It is frequently observed during the day under ledges or near the opening of small caves, at depths between 3 and 30 meters, where it swims in repetitive patterns. A nocturnal feeder, it leaves the protection of its daily shelter at night to feed.
Found on coral reef, in shallow waters down to -90 ft fom Florida all the Caribbean sea to North Brazil.
