Margarops fuscatus
8 in tall, brown speckled feathers darker on the top lighter on the underside with a white belly. Black eye with blueish rim.
The Americans and the Caribbean islands
Thrasher birds are very common in the Caribbean. They usually inhabit the dry scrub forest of the islands where their brown bodies help them camouflage. Unlike other birds in the Caribbean, the Thrasher is not easily frightened by humans. Because of this, they are considered a pest; as they can sometimes be found raiding picnics on the beach.

Nice one!
You can add the scientific name to complete your spotting, Margarops fuscatus. Thanks! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pearly-eyed...
