Hi BeckArmstrong. Welcome to Project Noah!

It looks like you have two different organisms here in this spotting. The first one looks like Monotropa uniflora, Indian Pipe, a really neat plant that contains no chlorophyll. The second one I am not sure but I think it is a fungus of some sort.

You should separate these into two different spottings so they can be identified properly, especially since they are two different types of organisms. It will also help with the data collection and make it less confusing and more useful for other users!
