Wild Senna

Senna didymobotrya

Description:

Shrub with yellow, cone-shaped flowers and opposite leaves. I really only took these photos because we could see Swaziland from where we were and I wanted to have a spotting from another country. Would love to know what it is though :)

Habitat:

Next to a creek in a thorn scrub area.

Thank you Kate, that's it! If it helps, it was barely in Swaziland. It was right next to the river that separates South Africa and Swaziland

This is an invasive alien species and is unfortunately quite widespread in Swaziland, occurring in overgrazed areas.

It is a Fabaceae. It could be a Caesalpinia. I hope someone helps you with ID.
