Hmm... I'm not sure. We found it in the middle of our back yard. We are about 2 miles from a lake with no streams any closer than that. That would be a long journey for a little snail. And there are lots of them in the yard under rocks and in the wet leaves.
Looks like an Apple Snail. Limpkins love them
