The female is capable of producing 100 or more eggs. The female fruit fly oviposits in the green immature fruit by thrusting her ovipositor through the flesh of the fruit. She then deposits a group of 10 or more long, slender eggs among the seeds in the papaya central cavity where the young larvae feed on developing seeds and interior parts of the fruit.
Parece que esta mosca estaba ovipositando en el fruto de papaya. Por cierto, te invito a que la incluyas en la mision de Animales Miméticos
Gracias voy a preguntarle, en la ultima esta absorbiendo una leche que sale de la papaya cuando se le hace una herida
vi varias familias en las que el ovopositor es bien largo pero aun nada similar
