Evening Bat or common bat

Vespertilionidae

Description:

WARNING. GRAPHIC. This was a total surprise to see a bat in my backyard. Normally I do not post images of dead animals ,but i would like to document this. I do live among hills and there is a barn somewhere near.It just tells me that a little rain can bring this ecosystem alive!! I always wanted to see a bat but not this way and I was saddened by it. I do have a few fruit trees. Any suggestions how the bat got here? and that too dead? some animal brought it here?R.I.P dear bat.

Habitat:

foothills. In the vicinity of a barn.

Notes:

Myotis ciliolabrum?
