Found in pool skimmer in Augusta,GA. Snake is approximately 9 in long. Found one similar a week earlier that was alive about the same size. Want to know what danger this poses to children and pets.

Thank you Alex. I did some research based upon your suggestion and came to the same conclusion based upon the other snakes in the area.
