A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Project Noah Nature School
About 10 mm long..
Agree with Dictyopharidae. Dictyophara patruelis is now called Raivuna patruelis and not found in Australia and these kind of planthoppers are tricky to ID.http://hemiptera-databases.org/flow/?pag...And I think it is probably not possible to get an ID from a picture only. Here is one example from Australia:http://www.flickr.com/photos/72842252@N0...And some more links to check:http://bie.ala.org.au/species/urn:lsid:b...http://www1.dpi.nsw.gov.au/keys/fulgor/d...
Nice one! Please consider adding to the global mission, The Hoppers: http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/8096...
Looks like dictyophara patruelis
