The plant is tall almost 7-8 ft. The flowers grow at the terminal end...there is a fist shaped structure with small pouches; each flower grows out of one such pouch.
A plot of land sold for residential construction but not built upon yet. So it is a bit of a biodiversity hotspot till a house comes up.
What I loved about this plant (according to Wikipedia): is that the Kama Sutra lists it as an ingredient in a cosmetic to be used on the eyelashes to increase allure...Just think about it ...a plant whose habitat is in ditches (Wikipedia again) was also studied for its utility by the ancients and they found a use for it...eyelash embellishment.
