After two very depressing sightings,one of a dead baby hummingbird(R.I.P) and one of a dead bat,this was a heart warming sight.A mama and baby Says Fledglings. I saw a total of 4 fledglings. Will post pics soon.

Joshua,these fledglings open their mouth really wide.Just a few minutes before i took this photograph,a black phoebe brought down a white butterfly and then flew off with it to feed her youngsters.My camera was not ready.But she persistently intercepted the path of the butterfly.Once the butterfly got disoriented she grabbed it in her beak.Such is nature!

They are very common here in AZ. It was always a treat to see one in California.
