Description:

The yellow and black American Bumble Bee is a classic summertime friend doing more good for plants than harm to people.

Habitat:

Bumblebees are typically found in temperate climates, and are often found at higher latitudes and altitudes than other bees, although a few lowland tropical species exist.

Notes:

Bumblebees use old mice burrows, cavities in buildings, and other locations to make their nests.
