Ficus dammaropsis
This is a tropical fig tree with huge pleated leaves about 60 cm across.
Found as a feature tree in the botanical gardens.
The figs are edible but seldom used. Native to the New Guinea highlands.

An annual visit is mandatory and very educational.
Makes me think a visit there is well overdue.
