Morel mushrooms

Description:

Cone shaped tops that resemble coral or a sponge. Can be black, yellow, or grey in appearance. Very tasty!

Habitat:

Wooded areas that aren't prone to flooding.

Notes:

First time hunting and found 106! Seems they are easier to find closer to entrance than deeper in the woods. Found most near fallen logs and around the hickory trees.
