Banana, its not mexican, i think it was introduced from India. People in this village in Michoacán province, Mexico, sell it as medicina for kidney and asthma problems, boiled in water and taken as a tea. Its already growing in the wild according to what the guy selling it told me. Do you people in india know this species. It has very big black seeds.

thank you for the link ceherzog. Ive red all bananas we eat do not develop seeds, the little tiny things are just reminicenses of what was going to develop into a seed. Then banana plants are just propagated from cuts i guess.....
