Description:

Grows to approximately 60 cm. Tan in color with dark false-eye spots. Lives in colonies mimicking sea grasses.

Habitat:

Ocean dwelling eel that makes its home in the sand, near reefs.

Notes:

Often looked over without a trained eye, quickly sinking into the sand when approached. Sways in unison with other colony members with the passing current.
