Horrific beauty!

For me a mistery itself, how can some kinds of such parasiting fungi "manipulate" their victims to do them a "last favor" by dying on the edge of a leaf (at least in best position) to make spore spreading most effective ... (!)... ?

Ancient misteries of life and death all around - Thanks for spotting!

Wow!, very cool picture. I think this could be an amazing spot for the mission Arthropods Parasited by Fungi http://www.projectnoah.org/missions/1159...
