Black-tailed Jackrabbit

Lepus californicus

Description:

Gray-brown fur with a black tail and huge ears. I found this guy while spotting at night and tried to quickly to get a picture and didn't check my camera settings....1/8 of a second was way too slow haha. Can still mostly tell what it is though!

Habitat:

In a thorn scrub area.
