Hi MSJmjohnson, great spotting!
I am fairly sure this is a Chinese Mantid. Though they are somewhat similar in appearance to Mantis religiosa (European Mantis), the yellowish color on the thorax and the color of the body and legs are more indicative of the Chinese Mantid. Mantis religiosa does not have that yellow coloration.

That being said, this would be a fantastic addition to the Marvelous Mantids of the North East mission!
