Description:

Distinguished from Campanula lasiocarpa by its smooth (not hairy) sepals and its lack of teeth on the leaf and sepal margins

Habitat:

Growing next to a large boulder (I often find harebells close to or on top of rocks) on a densely vegetated (though low-growing) trail overlooking the ocean
