This little juvenile is being raised by native people , as it get to maximum size which can be quite large it will be sacrificed for a feast. The boy caring for it was the only one the paca would allow get near it.

Peruvians eat Guinea Pigs, "cuy", less of a damaging ecological footprint thatn cows...
Yikes, interesting to see the cultural use of some animals, despite their cuteness.
