Tabebuia impetiginosa
Description: It is a tree of the Bignoniaceae family, which presents leaves with 5 leaflets, petiolate and toothed. The flowers are purplish purple, with hairy calyx and form terminal bouquets. The ipês lose the leaves before the appearance of some floral buds. When the flowers appear, they cover all the branches that are defoliated, and provide a very beautiful landscape, with which few trees can compete. _Breno Gabriell
Origin: Tropical America, from Mexico to Argentina. In Brazil is its greater distribution. _ Breno Gabriell
