Signs of Merriam's Wild Turkey

Meleagris gallopavo merriami

Habitat:

pine forest

Notes:

The first photo is a tail covert that my Dad found during a hike. The second is a primary wing feather that I found under a roosting tree. The third photo is of a tom's scat. They have a J -shape which is different from a hen's. The fourth and fifth photos show well-defined tracks in the dirt along a trail.
