Thank you Namitha and Ashley for the ID. You're right. Comparative study is one of the best ways to learn. I'm unfortunately not very good with the genus (I have two other different unidentified species of Equisetum.).

I don't think they are the same species. I thought it would be helpful in comparative study. I noticed that there are a number of unidentified Equisetum spottings in Project Noah.
