Green Frog

Rana clamitans

Description:

The Green frog grows to 2 to 4 inches long. Primarily aquatic in habitats. Breeds from spring to late summer. Calls from shoreline or from floating vegetation. with yellowish throat, especially in males. Solitary, laying eggs in spreading surface masses.

Habitat:

Abundant through out the East along the edges of ponds, lake and streams.
