Is this a captive? You have this plotted on the map in a seeming semi-natural segment of the Brazos River in northern Texas. If that is the spotting location, there are no naturally occurring crocodilians there. The closest is in eastern Texas, the American alligator (Alligator mississippiensis). The American crocodile's (Crocodylus acutus) current range in north America is "along the extreme southern coastline of Florida, including the Keys" http://nas.er.usgs.gov/queries/factsheet... The animal's features are obscured by foam or floating plants so I'm not clear on which species this is. If you can confirm location and status (captive or wild?) it might help.
