Opheodrys aestivus
Lovely green snake hanging on tree stump, not sure if just heating but appeared dead
According to this http://www.flmnh.ufl.edu/herpetology/fl-... the range is helpful in ID with the Florida one found in central and southern FL, and the Northern in northern FL. So I'm guessing this is the Northern subspecies.
Here in FL we have The Florida Rough Green Snake (Opheodrys aestivus carinatus) and the Northern Rough Green Snake (Opheodrys aestivus aestivus) not sure which of the two this is.
