Orange Woodlouse

Armadillium Sp.

Description:

An orange woodlouse, this is a weird spotting, sorry for the bad quality, I didn't have my professional camera that time, so I took it with an iPhone, and put a magnifier in front of it. If Isopod category was real, this species would fit in there.

Habitat:

Wet, really wet habitats. (The Oniscidea species, despite of living terrestrially, the still being crustaceans, hence they need water, ther still use gills as respiratory system, sucking the humidity from the soil, that's why they are usually found underground)

Notes:

The orange woodlouse are a variation on the color of the species Armadillium sp. this variation is not very helpful due to the fact that this make them more sensitive to the light, (most of this specimens have shorter life span than normal ones).

Welcome to Project Noah, Phillip Torres.
Since woodlouse are arthropods, could you please change it's category to "Arthropods". Thank you.
