Description:

Fairly long rostrum. Dark maroon/brown colour with some white markings.

Habitat:

Branch of a young eucalypt sapling.

Notes:

Still looking for the species.

Rachael, this seems to be a Aoplocnemus sp. Tasmanicus is certainly from Tasmania and I can find no record of it in Victoria.
There are several other species of Aoplocnemus in Victoria from the Eol site and I think it is one of these. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/161...
