Foot note: they are wild animals and as such are dangerous. A friend of mine that raised an orphan Brush-Tailed Possum had it attack her and bite her finger clean off! Any animal can be dangerous!

Hi Mexassi! This is a possum and not an opossum. The opossum of North America and the Australian possum are not related at all, except by virtue of both animals being marsupials.
