Description:

-Yellow Pedals -Every petal is a separate flower with a separate seed -No number of pedals (to many to count) -Brought to North America as a crop -Toothed leaves clustered at base -Blooms March-September -2-18" tall -Range= Wide spread

Habitat:

Grassy/green area on the side of a river bank. It was found in a shruby area.

Notes:

Comes from French "Dent de lion" which means tooth of the lion. -These are five pictures one of the stem of the dandelion, one of the buds, one of the beginning of the sprout, one that is more sprouted, and the last is the dandelion head fully sprouted.
