Fun fact! The leaf-tail gecko (Uroplatus fimbriatus) is the toothiest of all land animals! This Madagascan native uses its incredible 317 teeth to capture frogs and other small, slippery animals. https://www.facebook.com/projectnoah/pho...

Beautiful gecko!

Hi Stephan this is a wonderful catch. Congratulations! I would like to share this information to all. :))

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) lists all of the Uroplatus species on their "Top ten most wanted species list" of animals threatened by illegal wildlife trade, because of it "being captured and sold at alarming rates for the international pet trade". It is a CITES Appendix 2 protected animal.
From Wikipedia.
