Wolf Spider

Hogna lenta

Description:

A Wolf Spider in the Nagasaki Prefectural Forest.

Habitat:

This spider was on a tree trunk on Japanese Cedar in the Nagasaki Prefectural Forest with a shaded and humid habitat.

Notes:

This Wolf Spider was found on a tree trunk from a Japanese Cedar tree. The forest was heavily shaded by other trees and was very humid due to the near-by bodies of water. Without a lot of human presence, it’s an ideal place for small organisms to thrive without disturbance.
