Description:

Spotted it in Butterfly park in Bannerghatta Bangalore. Found in Forests of western ghats. Could not make out whether it is Malvaviscus penduliflorus - Pendulous Sleeping Hibiscus http://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/sl... or Malvaviscus arboreus var. arboreus - Sleeping Hibiscus http://www.flowersofindia.net/catalog/sl.... Both look alike.

Habitat:

Found in Western Ghats.

Notes:

Grows in forests. Also grown in gardens.
