Gray and black red probe like mouth. Ridge back. Reminds me if a kissing bug but I'm not sure if it is.

Oh yes that is it! Thanks +KeithRoragen - Thanks to your reference I researched the Kissing Bug ( http://bugguide.net/node/view/561944 ) - not the same obviously, but it appears they are related. Both considered 'assassin' bugs...
