Saw larvae of saturniid moth (Samia canningi) feeding on its leaves
No Jason, this is not mahogany. It is really Ailanthus sp. as I have already suggested. most probably Ailanthus altissima which is a well documented larval food plant of the Eri Silk moth (Samia caningii) as I have mentioned in the note. thanks anyway.
