Neat find! This is a female species of Wolf Spider. Wolf spiders carry their egg sacs on the spinneretes (just under the back end) as seen here. When the babies hatch, the mother spider will continue to carry the babies on her abdomen as protection for them at the beginning of life. http://bugguide.net/node/view/1967
