Brown Anole

Anolis sagrei

Description:

Around 1:30 p.m. in the afternoon, I was looking out of the right front window, and I spotted the same, dark reptile. This dark reptile, was resting right on the edge, of the left, side wall, and about half way up the wall. I opened the front door very quietly, and as I stepped outside, I placed both of my feet, on the front door mat. I grabbed my camera, and I started to take a lot of photos, of this dark reptile. This dark reptile, did not move, so I crept closer, and I took more photos. This dark reptile, still did not move. I was now about twelve inches away from this dark reptile, and I took more photos. This is the first time, that this dark reptile, did not move, while I was taking photos of it. All the other times, as soon as I turned the door knob, this dark reptile, would hide in the bushes. I have seen this dark reptile many times during the day. During these past few days, I have seen this dark reptile, in this same place, resting on the left side wall, near the edge, and about half way up the wall. Also, this dark reptile, is staying in this position, for twenty to thirty minutes at a time. It rained before, and I spotted seven reptiles, in the rain.

Habitat:

I spotted this dark reptile, resting on the edge of the left side wall, and about half way up the wall.
