Black-Eyed Susan Vine

Description:

This is a vine that was growing up a pine tree in a garden. It grows up fences and stair railings. It is called the Deer's Eye or Ojo de Venado in Mexico. It flowers almost continuously all year with orange flowers about 3 cm wide with deep purple throats.

Habitat:

Semi-urban area on outskirts of the city, 2,200 meters.

Thank you Alice, this was about the 20th time trying to get a good picture of it. It is hard to get the deep throat in focus.
