Green Weaver Ant Queen

Description:

Green weaver ant queen, aproximate size 25 mm. Attracted to the outside lights in the evening. I believe they shed their wings once they find a place to settle as I have spotted several with no wings in the same area.

Habitat:

Urban settlement, close to small patches of jungle.
