Desmodium nudiflorum


Typical pea shaped flowers on a small, slightly pubescent stem. Leaves are alternate. The flowers are a pink-purple color with two darker dots at the base of one of the petals.


I found this plant along the Oak Ridge Greenway in a hardwood forest. Seems to prefer moist, partially shaded areas.
