Description:

The color of the shell, was brown, green, and gray. It had two black lines, running down the neck of the snail. The diameter of the shell, was one quarter of an inch. Terrestrial snails are usually herbivorous. The diet of most land snails, can include: leaves, stems, soft bark, fruit, vegetables, fungi, and algae. A land snail, is a common name, for any of the numerous species of snail, that lives on land. Land snails, are terrestrial gastropod mollusks, that have shells. ( those without shells, are known as slugs ). The majority of land snails are pulmonates, ( they have a lung, and breathe air ). Most land snails, have shells that are right-handed, in there coiling. Snails are nocturnal, so they will be looking for sources of food, during the night, or during the very early morning hours.

Habitat:

This snail, was climbing up a concrete wall, on the outside of my house, in the morning time. What is found, is that land snails, live in locations, where there are humans around. Gardens.

Notes:

Went outside in the morning time, and I saw this small snail, climbing up a concrete wall, near my front door. The colors of the shell, was: brown, green, and gray. The diameter of the shell, was one fourth of an inch. It had two black lines, running down the neck of this snail.
